About JCI Baguio

JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens age 18 to 40 who are engaged and committed to creating impact in their communities. Active citizens are individuals invested in the future of our world. JCI gathers active citizens from all sectors of society.

We develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding to make informed decisions and take action. As globally minded young people, we all have rights, responsibilities, and share goals. We find targeted solutions to local issues benefitting our communities, our world and our future. Embracing new ideas, collaboration, and diversity, we have the passion and courage to address the critical challenges of our time.

Shaping Future Leaders

Our 2021 Leaders

Usually work towards the promotion of our chapter’s causes or welfare of a targeted population.

His objectives and methodology are often a bit diverse compared to other JCI BAGUIO’s past presidents before him.
By following a realsitic approach right from the stage of conceptualization. He is a straight forward leader who always
lay down the issues that he wants to address, and administer JCI’s mission and vision.

He affects members in a way that makes them want to be better people and someone who advocates for the chapter’s lofty and realistic goals.

He encourage strategic thinking, innovation, and action.

Don Varr Aqui

President, JCI Baguio

A natural born leader and composes projects and ideas that can massively change the community for the greater good.
He goes up against internal problems within the chapter and uses his leadership skills to mend it from within when the president is not around.

By making the right moves, he gives every member a chance to develope their own leadership skills.

He makes sure that every member are participating early on meetings as he establish and maintain immense respect within the chapter.

Superb communication skills, espectially on enticing new members to develope their own character by giving opportunities to them to make projects of their own.

He builds the chapter’s reputation by puting the ‘elation’ in the chapter’s ‘public relations’.

Rogelio Kintanar

Considered as the chapter’s backbone, she maintains to be the stronghold for the overwhelming amount of projects and reporting that comes with it.

She is arguably the most important officer as she is responsible for organizing, assimilating and disseminating information within and without the organization.

She raises social awareness and developing every member’s empathy and have made the chapter more responsible and accountable for the chapter’s goals.

She gauges how busy the chapter is by checking in with project chairs and how their projects are going. A person who highly deserves a six-month-vacation… Twice a year.
